Everyone has a song that "speaks to them". What is the ONE song, above all others, that was powerful to you and touched you in some way, either emotionally, spiritually, or ect..?

the song angel's son performed by lajon from sevendust, it was a tribute to lynn from snot. or get some by snot, you can feel the pain from it if you really listen, kinda ironic really that he died shortly after releasing it. also the song i loved her first by heartland, i reaminds me of the magic in the hospital room when my daughter was born. of till i collapse by eminem really gets me pumped i guess is the word really all music touches me i'm just like that this list could go on for hours

Several come to my mind...Whitney Houston's The Greatest Love of All and Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers. Those two songs were very emotionally moving for me. Aerosmith's I Don't Want to Miss a Thing and Johnny Cash's Hurt are another couple powerful songs. Great question to ponder over!
If I have to pick ONE though John Lennon's Imagine moves me to tears sometimes because during these crazy times it just gives me hope.

I agree with most of the songs on here, but thought I should add
Harry Chapin's Cat's in the Cradle.
Everytime I hear it I think about how short life is and that I should live life to the fullest!
More than a Feeling by Boston!
wow this song just makes me feel good to be alive. (I went skydiving and on the dvd I got, I had this song playing!)
There are many many more....

LOL, the first thing that comes to mind is "Is That All There Is" by Peggy Lee. Funny that's the first place I would go. That song is a downer.

Several songs "spoke to me" over the years:
Jimi Hendrix- "Castles Made Of Sand"
Bob Dylan- "Love Sick" and "Girl From The North Country"
Gary Moore- "Run For Cover"
Beatles- "Revolution"
Nazareth- "Love Hurts"
Nick Lowe- "What's So Funny about Peace, Love And Understanding"
Elvis Costello- "Radio, Radio"
Johnny Cash- "Hurt", "The Mercy Seat", and "Delia's Gone"
Tom Petty- "I Won't Back Down"
and about 50 more.....music speaks to the soul that's receptive.
