These people have the right idea: castration. But, you need to get into the mind of a rapist. What do they fear most, or can't live without? SEX! While serving time in prison, they should be deprived of any human contact. After serving his OR her's long term, THEN they should be castrated.... or spaded or neutered or anything else you can think of. But no rapist can live without any form of sex. If they can't have it, they will most likely commit suicide.

Well, in my mind they would be put on an isolated island in the pacific all by their little old self, but I know that's not realistic, unfortunately. I know many posts have already suggested castration, but you know what, they would still rape using other items other than their body. So, unfortunately, that really wouldn't work, unless a lobotomy was performed on them.
I was raped a few times as a young adult. They were separate incidents and I didn't report any of them, because of fear. Back in the seventies the police interrogations of rape victims were brutal and there were no rape advocacy programs. So unless the rapists raped again and were finally reported and are in prison, they are still out there. I hate to think of that. That is very scary.
They should get life in prison with no chance of parole and physically branded with the name RAPIST on their forehead AND forced to spend the rest of his or her time in prison completely alone. jmo

The rapist should be hanged or stoned to death in public area in order to avoid others to do the same thing.

It depends on the circumstance of the rape and I would go with what ever the court system decides on that person as they would have done all the investigation.l

I know that they destroy lives, boundaries, and freedoms by what they do. When performed on children, they corrupt an innocence that will never be regained again. When performed on women, her life will never be the same again.
To let the rapist have another opportunity at the same kind of attack is injustice. Sex crimes are (and I'm not sure about this,) 95% incurable, either through mental psychologic help or penal help in prison.
I would love it if serious sex crime offenders got lifetime in prison, mandatory. By what I have found, sex offenders have the hardest time in prison, since the other inmates look down on them. I suggest they spend their life there so that the other inmates can give justice where sometimes our judicial system has its hands tied on what to do with them.

I have been raped. the man also tortured, humilliated, and beat me up. This incident has changed me:I cannot orgasm, my relationship with my husband has changed, for 3yrs i've been in and out of court because of his lawyer and despite evidence including DNA. He can rot (he's up for 30yrs PER offense). And I hope he's miserable.
