what does labour feel like? ...part two.....?

i am sensing that most of you did not understand my question. i am totally aware that delivery hurts no matter what way you have it. i know about the burning and breathing and whatnot seeing as my first decided to come out 2 mins after i had the epideral. now for my question again. what are some of the SIGNS that labour is near or starting? with my first my lower back started to hurt a lil bit then gradually got worse. then water broke and out popped my son lol. now. with in the last two weeks. my mucas plug fell out. ive been spotting, my lower back hurts like crazy, have been having horrible heart burn. been very very tired and restless and exsausted. have been sneezing or coffing and having fluids " come out" and the baby dropped today....PS. for all who asked...its a boy ...again :) and my son is 21 months old

the only sign i had were irregular contractions, i had no show, no waters breaking, nothing, just pains that every one (friends and family) said were just braxton hicks, but i found out i was 6-7 dialated, so my personal opinion, dont listen to anyone when they say you are or are not in labour,only the doc or midwife will know, i went into hospital because my gut instinct told me to go, if not i would of probably had a home birth with complications as i never had regular contractions and towards the end it stated to upset bubs! all the best of luck to you and your little ones!

I still think you may be in pre labor.Not sure still what your are asking.are you asking should you go to the hospital or asking do you have another week?
your body is definitely getting ready for birth as the plug has come away. That can happen a few days before you go into full labor.
If it were me, I would have my bag ready, organise whoever is going to mind your 21month old to be on standby and basically wait for contractions to start.you don't need to worry about infection unless your water has broken and then you have about 24 hours before they would induce labor.You say you have fluid coming out when you cough or sneeze, it is most likely urine as the head has dropped some. if it continuously leaking then it is more likely your "waters"in this case you should get to hospital within 24 hours.So the SIGNS you are asking for you have,it's jsut a matter of time now.

Since your plug came out, I would contact your doctor, as this is the first sign that you are close. I wouldn't wait for any other 'signs'. If you are spotting and leaking water, you can end up with an infection. Contact him and let him know everything. They may have to induce you and break your water this time. Every child I had was totally different, so don't go by the last time.
If necessary, go to the ER, just to have them check you.

Ok..
Imagine period pains?
Times that by like 15?
It hurts really bad..Your stomach tightens and ahh the pain in your back...OUCHY!When you push its like a burning feeling..
