I have a spare parts shop and required some software which is not i have to control our inventory. so i m going with microsoft excel, is it possible? please suggest my email is"ankushwaman@yahoo.co.in"

Learn the "database functions" WELL.

Don't put anything one one sheet except data. Use separate sheets liberally for reports and queries. Make sure you understand "linking" separate sheets and naming "ranges".

Make a small database and play with the functions make sure you REALLY understand how they work and what each one does BEFORE you try to set up all your data.

If you think you are ready to start putting your real data in before you've redesigned your experiment 3 time, stop, slap yourself in the face and do one more total redesign using what you learned so far.

u r taking a big risk by keeping stock list, i am sure max part of business in your profession is not white, how ever Excel is OK . make heading like BALL BEARING and sub head by the number of the bearing, like wise for other parts , but make copy an u have to be efficient to show sale immediately under the sale column.Check with your Sr before making the stock list
