I've met filipinos who say they have spanish blood in the US , although I must admit most of them do look hispanic/even spanish and could pass for one.

Doh...not all of them sweetheart! Some are..because Phillipines were under Spain before so you get a lot of mix blood people there. So maybe the ones that u met in the US have Spnish blood (mix races).
It is the same thing in anohter Asia country as well: Indonesia has a lot of mix races people with Dutch blood(Indonesia was under Dutch colony for 350 years) and Vietnam has a lot of mox races people with French and American blood

The spanish conquistadors from spain got around to the philipines and ou know they did their usual raping and stealing like in the other countries they visited so thats why they have spanish blood and some also speak spanish.

yes we have because, if you read and know our history, the Spaniards conquered the Philippines and they were the one who intruduce the Christian faith, which is the ROman Catholic. the spaniards stay here for so long and some of them marry filipinos thats why we have spanish blood
