Do you think it could also bring on episodes of bad behavior or nervous conditions?Do you know of any research?

I think smell can remind people of things that are bad for them, and then bring on bad moods without their realizing it.

This happened to me. I got sprayed with a perfume scent at a mall. I came home, and instantly my dad was in a bad mood. I asked my mom what was wrong, and she said, "Nothing, until you came in." Then she leaned in and said, "Arpege, you are wearing Arpege. His ex-wife wore Arpege. Wash it off." I did, and my dad lightened up within 20 seconds! Weird, huh? So scent definitely can affect mood in a negative way. Because of this, I never wear perfume to an important meeting.
