Working with paper materials in general will dry your hands out a lot because paper absorbs the oils in your hands. Wear gloves to keep your hands from getting dried out and to protect them from the blade of the box cutter.
Keep some lotion with you to keep your hands moisturized throughout the day and put some on before you sleep.
It is normal for your hands to feel so dry that you interpret it as numbness. If you feel "pins and needles" then that is a lack of circulation in which case you should see a doctor if that symptom is an every day occurrence.

Wow. You need to take better care of them in order to put up with the abuse that work is laying on them.
When you get home at night, be sure to wash them, then I would apply some Neosporin disinfectant AND Liquid BandAid or Liquid Skin product You need to keep the cuts clean and allow them to heal, otherwise they will just get worse and perhaps your hands will fall off while you're enjoying your 10AM soda (and wouldn't that be a drag?). Then go to a home improvement place like Home Depot or Lowes and get some work gloves with rubber palms and fingers. Cardboard and paper tend to pull all natural oils and moisture out of hands and these things really help. Good luck!

No, it is not normal, but it may be due to extremely dry skin. You really should put moisturizer on them several times (or more) throughout the day. You should also wear gloves when using a box cutter! If you cut yourself (and it was a deep cut) you may have cut a nerve - if you may have done this you should see a doctor immediately! Good luck!

no.
dry skin and cuts should not make your hand numb.
you could have a pinched or damaged nerve which causes numbness, pain, and tingling.
make an appt within 24-48 hours to see your dr.

In my opinion ,you'd better drink enough water & have enough fruit &vegetable.Besides, you can use some vinegar on your hands after washing them .You can also use some cosmetic cream to protect your hands .Lastly , you'd better have a cup of water before having a showing. I'll ttry to find other information for you .

No. It sounds like you may have circulation and/or nerve problems. Talk to a doctor, or it will probably get worse.

That sounds awful! I hope that you have not injured any nerves. Perhaps you should see a dermatologist, and wear gloves.

No this is not normal, you could have damaged your nerves, and you could have carpel tunnel syndrome, please see a doctor before you permanently damage the nerves!
