I liken it to trying to poo a watermelon.
Although it is coming out of your vagina it is into your bottom that you push, and it really feels like trying to pass a giant poo. A nice one though LOL it is cuddly and smells better :)
Nobody tells you about the burning...............when the head crowns it stretches you so much it burns like crazy, but then the head is out and the lumpy bumby bits are so soothing ..............

I have a two year old son and another one on the way due May. Also no two deliveries are the same. Hopefully this one for you will be relatively pain free. From what i can remember labour was naffing painful at the end of it i found walking around the hospital helped a great deal. I believe they have just finished concreting the goat track i left from last time. Walk, walk, walk, walk and more walking and when your in unbelieveable pain brace yourself against a wall. That's what i did can't believe i'm going for a second time man i'm an idiot jk. Good luck and you'll be right mate : )

just try to relax with your feet up. If you are not feeling any contractions or intense pain just yet or leaking any of your mucus plug or fluids you should be ok until tomorrow. just your body getting ready for the changes. You may feel a little more pressure on your pelvic bone or lower back as the time gets closer. Just keep moving to stay loose. They say due dates can be up to 2 weeks off, so you could be due sooner than you think. I'd bet they find you dialated tomorrow. I stayed at a 2cm for a month and still had to be induced alter. so I wouldn't worry. I'm sure you are fine. But be sure to tell the Dr about the blood!

Well, sweetie, if your back is not aching then it would feel very much like one long menstrual cramps when first starting.. then will get progressively worse.

Let me know what the DR says tomorrow. Spotting is usually a sign that "something" is starting...

BOY or GIRL?

GOOD LUCK

First don't upset yourself worring about what's it going to feel like, you know it's going to hurt either way, just do your breathing and pray ask for a smooth and comfortable labor. calm down, calm down blow relax drink some hot milk or tea. Good Luck with the little one the are truly a blessing from heaven..

hi there, i'm a moher 2 myself, coinsidently i had to experience back labour with my first as well, and with my 2nd child i had a really rough time. i just know that if you rely on your docs and focus on the goal when the time comes- put your faith in the lord- you will be alright. there is no way to judge one labor episode to another. you were strong enough to do it oce, so, keep that strenghth up for your new arrival.

Try to relax. Labor will come when it comes and there isn't too much you can do. Labor is a very painful experience, but tolerable. It's well worth the effort. Wish you the best.

Labour is very painful but practice your breathing exercises and concentrate on that to help you through the contractions. It's not as painful as back labour.
Congratulations!

For me, labor was like the worse stomach-ache with horrible nausea /menstrual cramp all in one going on the same time.

for me it felt like period cramps that got progressively worse. the spotting doesnt neccessarily mean labour it could just be from strain on your cervix. as long as its not alot of blood its ok.
