'azayi1' are right as most of the chalets are not listed on the website may be because some of it only charges RM60 per night n their chalets don't even have any links to internet. Try 'azayi1' suggestion to booked one hotel online then find out the details of others while you are there !

Don't forget to visits the turtles hatchery on the road leading to ClubMeb n never miss the keropok lekor while you are there, yummy ! if you are willing to go up north a little further [ about 20 km ], Kuala Kemaman has many many roadside stores selling keropok lekor plus some local delicacy too ! n the coffee at the Kemaman's kopitiam [ named something like Hai Ping ] is just out of this world !!!

pls take notes that now its the monsoon season at the east coast of Malaysia [ Cherating included ], so check-out the weather before you set foots there !

but i can tell you that some of the local malaysian tradisional chalet not listed on website.
probably you may book one hotel online for 1 day & the next day have a tour at cherating to find more small cosy hotel.
