does anybody think it will be safe if i go to lebanon this summer? i was supposed to go last summer but the war started just a few days before i was supposed to leave. i really miss my family and i want to see them...and yea also party cuz i love beirut. please let me know, especially people who are living there now. if i go, i would mainly be in aley...which im sure is much safer than other areas.

September next year the term of President Lahoud will come to an end, so I am expecting biiig trouble, as Hizbollah and Aoun do not want the 14th of march people to elect the new president (the 14th of March have the majority in the parliament who elects the president). So expect the worst. civil unrest, war initiated against Israel to push back the elections, everything is possible. I will avoid going there this summer, it will be better to go earlier (if things become calmer), like around may. I hope my fears will not become realities but I am pessimistic

i went to lebanon last year i had so much fun.omg.
