Chickens.
You need to find out about your local laws to keep chickens in suburbia though.

i would NOT suggest breeding rabbits. they do it enough on their own, they dont need to be asked! :) Plus there are too many of them in shelters and on kill lists becuae people buy them and "don't realize" the had a boy and a girl and ended up giving them away cause its too much to handle. (I currently have 4 bunnys im foster-caring for becuase of the shortage of adopters and the high kill risk at shelters)
I did breed parakeets for about 8 years. That was fun but very noisy. you have to have a seperate room or be very tolerate and deaf! But they are inexpensive to buy and they can be bonded to many at a time. they arent monogamous, which means more chance for babies. id start with an assortment of each color you find at a petstore. about 7-8. then as you get more experienced and learn about genetics, you can breed rare types of parakeets such as albino, hetero whites, and pure purples. they can earn you lots of money and attention! good luck!

Well you should'nt breed an animal unless you have experience and knowledge about them first. But yeah, Rabbits can be trained, and they are fun. But be careful with the breeding, you might end up with more bunny's then you wanted!!!

I found cockatiels were very fun and affectionqate to raise, but I don't reccomend you get a pet jst to breed it. That leads to more unwanted animals in shelters.

Get an iguana. They're easy to take care of (feed them right, though, they get about as much nutrition out of a piece of lettuce as they would a piece of newspaper) and they grow from tiny little lizards to big honking things. They're really interesting, and they're inexpensive, and you can breed them successfully without too much trouble (although once they reach adulthood they'll need room, a fully-grown adult can reach 4-6 feet in length and that's too big for an aquarium.)

Go for mice, you can litterally get started on $20.
If you have a couple hundred, try chinchillas. They're easy, and fluffy and cute. Mine never had more than two kits at once, so finding them homes isn't as hard as it'd be with the mice.

Rabbits are pretty easy to breed and care for, and you can use them for pets, for their meat, and for their fur.
