If your husband isn't doing anything and you believe him, it's time to have a throw-down with the neighbor.
In fact HE should be the one telling her to lay off...but maybe he likes the attention...makes him feel sexy and desireable...

In the example you give, he is trying to put the problem on you which makes you feel worse about the situation. You need to relate to him that when a person loves another person, they will bend over backwards to make sure that person is comfortable in the relationship (within reason). If she is not that important and not someone he plans or is interested in having an affair with, why should it be a big deal for him to avoid her to make you feel better? Being married requires these kinds of small sacrifices, and they are small unless something truly is going on.

you need to talk to your BF and forget the neighbor's wife. she's probably nothing but a whore anyway who is bored at home & is looking for some trouble, new entertainment for her, your relationship will be the first she breaks if you don't keep your distance from her.

May be you can use a little manipulation of your own and ask your neighbors wife how she feels about you talking to her husband about it.

I had a boyfriend once who kept warning me about my friend and come to find out she was calling him on the sly... I don't deal with manipulation well never have. I don't really care enough. If I doubt something I just let it go...

Just ignore her.
If that does not work casually ask her husband if she has noticed anything between the two of them.
That will stop her cold!

I get away from that person and I don't go back. In my experience, you get past one headgame and they just present you with another and another.
