What am I getting as a taxpayer for $177 MILLION a DAY?

For the war in Iraq?

I didn't get the weapons of mass destruction that were the SOLE purpose of the war.

I have 3,000 FEWER fellow American citizens because they were KILLED looking for those weapons.

I have yet another middle eastern country that has now succomed to terrorists because of the U.S. invasion.

I'm LESS safe today than before we invaded Iraq.

So WHAT am I getting, besides watching the military play with their expensive toys in the deserts of some once-soverign nation?

What I've gotten is a startling insight into the mental illnesses that comprise the conservative mind.

I had no idea there were that many really screwed up people out there. People who are so terrified and paranoid they will believe anything an authority figure tells them.

Whe you get an honest answer let me know........We are probably the only democracy that is not representative of its people, we are at the hands of legal thieves, our president is a crazy man playing russian roulette with our lives, not even getting the clue that our presence in IraQ is just fuelling a fire - almost like a dare. The world is not safe now with Bush and the maniac in Iran in it at the same time. No one will impeach Bush, he assured that with Cheyney as second.......and wha'ts up with the American people being told the innocent soldiers that go over there are fighting for "our Country". Bush should send his friends kids over - the ones who are making millions on the iol that we are trying to protect - nithing to do about democracy - its about capitalism - not our National interests - just a few, bush, cheyney - conflict of interests? If you or I wanted to run for superintendent of schools and our spouse was a CEO of a texbook company, no way - conflict here!!!Even more scary than the fact that we have a maniac playing games with another one, is that he is convinced that what he's doing is right - and it's costing him nothing.....literally and figuratively....Did you know that the only plane allowed to leave the country on 9/11 was the Bin Laden family? That's why we haven't found him yet - he's probably in his family living room laughing at all of us......We are getting nothing and we are being terrorized by our own government. The poeple in this country have to wake up and make noise - and let the rest of the world know that this isn't our idea or our fault - if they start shooting bombs they better have good aim........This is the LLLOOONNNGGGEEESSSTTT presidency in History, another 2 years - God help us - we don't have another 2 years - Those expensive toys you mention are manufactured in a company Cheyney has a big stake in- This whole administration whould be impeached - the good ones got out - powell - he couldn't take the crap anymore and he knew the truth - so do most Americans if they have 2 brian cells to put together. We are being intimidated into silence and submission to a dictatorial addministration - with no conscience, foreign policy, except - if it makes us money, then go for it-but at the ssame time, we sold our soul to the lowest bidder-China---China will never have to take us over - remember those wars of ideaology - Communism vs. Democracy.....my heart aches when I see a sweater made in Vietnam and I know so many people who died over there........I am with you in the mourning of our citizens as well as the citizens in Iraq who are in the middle of God knows what!!! First, missiles that didn't exist, then Hussein, the a democratic govt. - well they have them all now - the more we brake the more we can't fix - What would have happenend if Spain came over to fight for their National Interests in our Civil War - We can't win a war that can't be fought with guns - we can't win a war and enforce our will on another people - there are many towns and cities in Iraq that are doing quite well - did you ever notive that we only see Baghdad? There's a heck of a lot more goin on than meets the eye- everyone has to get together in this country and pray - no matter what religion, every hour on the hour - because wew represnet Christianity to a crazy goup of people that want to destroy our EVIL empire and replace it with their particular brand of evil - Wwe are less safe, but the idiots who are making this thing happen are more safe - new planes, bomb shelters, etc........Has anyone out there said or done anything about the censorship happening all around us. During the Vietnam war we saw the bodies of our fallen soldiers arriving in Dover, a wake up call, not a denial.......we are all being treated like we are substandard, stupid human beings in this country - something has to change fast - or we are all in deep poop. We already are - but it can and will get worse if we don't do womthing soon - our govt has to chanGE now - get rid of the party systema dn elect a person with goals, and priciples, and ideals that will promote the good will of the citizens around the world, not their self interests in the name of Naional Security........I could go on and on and on.........pacem in terris

The Weapons? What about the Gas, the Nerve Agents? Those are WMD's. Syria? What about them. We have intel photos of trucks crossing the border. Hmm.. what needed to be moved so bad then?

The Military men and women over there want to complete the mission. I support them in that 100%/

Iraq hasn't succumbed to the terrorists yet. Yes, they have been invaded by foreign terrorists, who we are fighting, but they have a government who we are supporting. If we stay with them they will get to where they need to be.

Less Safe? Prove it. There have been no attacks on Us Soil. Knock on Wood. But please tell me how we are less safe. The battle is being fought Over There.

What do you propose? Completely pull out? Abandon the Iraq Government? Abandon the Iraqi Civilians who are just trying to get by. Those who are actively working to make their homeland a better place? Spit in the face of our soldiers who are over there fighting hard? They know the crap that is said back here at home by the media and people like you. That hurts their morale more than anything. Knowing that people here don't support them.
