1.Liking each other (!).. grows to love..
2. Having physical attraction (though not overly important as looks fade..)
3. Same goals in life
4. Same values and morals
5. Shared past experiences
6. Agreement on money issues
7. Agreement on children issues
8. Living in the same country (!) - sounds daft but..
9. Having the same interests
10. Respect for each other

Either way, #1 In Love #2 She's Pregnant #3 Been together so long they may as well make it legal #4 Share properties in the same name #5 Have kids together #6 Tired of people asking why they ar not #7 Already bought the ring and/or dress #8 Already booked the church #9 Realize their is no one else you would rather be with #10 MONEY$$$$$$Switch # 9 with # 2 !!!

5. Thinking life will be better if you are together.
6. Thinking your relationship will be stronger.
7. Thinking that combining your paychecks and filing taxes together will give you lots more money.
8. Wanting a father or mother for the child/children, you are raising alone.
9. You are an illegal alien and want to stay in this country.
10. Future mother-in-law already bought the cake. I really heard that one from someone.

1. tax and other financial benefits.
2. love (rarely)
3. have some rule about sex before marriage - need to get some.
4. to have a gathering and see family
5. to get divorced and take half of the other's stuff
6. don't want a child out of wedlock
7. better than suicide
8. undying love and feelings for other
these are just things i heard on the radio lately. not my beliefs.
