From the way I understand it, Barack Obama doesn't support gay marriage, but he does support civil unions. Is this correct? And I believe he does support a woman's right to have an abortion. Is this correct, also?

That is correct. I dont believe any viable candidate would openly support gay marriage because it is way too unpopular. Obama is definitely for a woman's right to have an abortion if she desires. He spoke about his standing on these and other issues in a recent episode of Oprah.

I think Obama realizes that he isn't the judge of people, and that there is only One Judge, and that is God. Most people running for office today, and either party, believe the same things.
