This guy has connections with someone in the main office and is always trying to get people in trouble or fired. Nobody knows who his connection is but they are always covering for him when he screws up. Whenever anyone else makes a mistake, they are disciplined or terminated but not this guy. Looking for a dirty trick to use to get rid of him.

Type up your resume and start looking for a new job...

You won't get the guy out of your hair and if you DO succeed and are then later found out.. you will be fired.

Oh....My.....God.....I swear you work where I used to work!!!
I was lucky, I got injured on the job and got to leave permanently....It is so pathetic that there are people like that in the work place!!! I wish I could give you some sound advice on this, but all i can say is if this idiot has a "connection" in the office, you may as well just find a new job. That is the exact situation I was in, except the person who was the complete A*hole (with a capital HOLE), was my boss and he had a connection in the office, so he was able to hire all his friends and derelict family and these people were evil!!!! He also was able to give them raises all the time and big ones at that. He also used to humiliate me in front of everyone in my department, and give his cousin credit for all my work to the upper management. Well, I could just go on until I am primed to murder, but I will stop here before that happens!!! Anyway, unless you can get positive proof of anything, there's not much you can do that I can think of.... hopefully someone will have a good solution and I will keep checking back on this one!!! Good luck!!!

These people seem to crop up a lot of places. Do your job as well as you can and ignore him. You might look for a replacement job without letting on to "anyone".

Sounds like you're the one who needs to be fired.

I eat guys like you for lunch in my office.

You are so weak at your job that you are worried, and relying on revenge to get to someone you are not sure is complaining...the simple fact that they let this person stay should tell you he's doing his job.

Jealousy in an office has no place.

I remove jealous co-workers immediately and let them go without any difficulty.

A team effort means everyone works together.

My suggestion: Stop playing childish games in work. Get back to work. Do your job and be more concerned with the job than your coworker.

Send dirty email from his computer, or, better yet, use his computer while he's not there and surf for porn. Start a whispering campaign, e.g. spread dirty rumors about him ("I heard that someone's been stealing, do you know who it might be? Yeah, they said the guy had stolen about $5,000...", etc. etc.)Claim sexual harassment. Start tape recording his conversations. If he bitches, remind him that he's not on the phone, and remind him you're not the police, and claim that you're dictating. Key his car. Stab his tires. Make life hell for him and he'll quit.

You won't get rid of him. You will find someone like him in every job; you have to learn to live with it. If you try to get rid of him they're bound to find out its you & he would not be the one out on the street!

Becareful, because this will backfire, and you will be looking for a new job. Do your work to the best of your ability and do not worry about the brown- noser.
