"down there" help?

ive never shaved my pubic area yet.. but i am planning on getting a bit intimate with my bf and i need a clean PAINLESS shave. waxing is not an option because i dont wanna ask my mom. PLEASE DONT TELL ME OHHH UR TO YOUNG. im 17. me and my bf are ready to do oral. thats it people! SO just shaving down there tips?

Sounds like the only option you have is shaving. But you don't HAVE to shave to do oral. Not everyone does. Also, be sure this is what you want to do because there can be severe itching and irritation when the hair starts to grow back. Also, you can end up with some nasty razor bumps.
It just sounds like you are too you because you are concerned about asking your mother and you say you can't buy nair. Why do you need permission to get waxed?

I have been shaving down there for a long time. My best advice is to do in a shallow bath (enough water to rinse but not wipe away the shaving cream) as opposed to the shower with running water. Make sure you have a NEW razor, because if it is dull it will be more likely to give you razor burn. Try to use a triple bladed razor, and use plenty of shaving cream. Shave up like you would your legs. If your pubic hair is long you may want to trim it as low as you can get it before shaving. Don't press down to hard. Make sure the water is fairly warm, and rinse off the razor often. Be careful shaving the side bits of skin on either side of your vagina. After you are done put on some aloe cream. It will be bumpy the first few times there is no getting around that. I hope this helps, and practice safe sex hun :)

Ok, the best item ever is Finishing Touch shaver. You can buy one for $10 at Bed, Bath N Beyond or sometimes Target or Wal-Mart. It works really really well at trimming the hair down there super super short - so it's pretty much all gone. Softer than stubble but not all the way shaved so as to cause ingrowns. And leaves you looking like a woman, not a 12 year-old.

It works the best after a shower. Get all clean down there, dry really well, then grab a hand mirror and go for it.

The package says it's for use on eyebrows and stuff, so if your mom finds it she won't think anything of it.

I think you're not to young because if you're ready then you're ready I hated when people used to tell me I was too young to do this and that. You're a young lady blossoming into an adult so people need to treat you like it. You should ask your boyfriend what he likes if he wants you to shave it then you should do nair or something like that which is pretty good or if he doesn't want you to shave you can just trim it because most guys are different when it comes to oral

Not sure if this is the best way but it works. Warm water. Some kind of shaving cream. Sharp razor (blunt razors More likely to cut). When you're all done wash everything away with cold water... this stop the area you shaved from coming up in red bumps!

Why do you feel you have to shave? I say, go au natural.
If you do decide to wax, you don't need to ask your mom. Most salons offer that service.
Shaving is painless until your hair starts growing out again. Lot's of itching! You could also get ingrown hairs.

Sit in a hot/warm bath for half an hour, it softens the hair and skin and opens pours and trim befor you shave, it's easier.

first no you are not too young...if you think you are ready then you are ready...ok so when shaving use hair conditioner to smooth out the area so you don't cut yourself....and shave the direction the hair grows...and be patient go slow...you don't want no cuts down there

Use Nair. It will say not to use on pubic areas, but it works. I use it all the time. Make sure you don't get it on the actual vagina, it will burn
