I've done a minor tuneup ,but it's still the same.
I was told that it was common with the s10.
My friend told me that it was from the air intake , that it was a part that has a small piston inside that gums up.I asked whats the name of the part ?He didn't know.
If you guys can help, let me know the name of the part and how to replace or repair it, thanks.

Start with a proper tuneup... plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter. Check engine light ever come on? If so check the codes... could be many things.

Also, it may have thrown a code, but the light hasn't come on. Have the codes read. It could be an O2 sensor or engine temp sensor.
