Does the service differ for a wireless plan and prepaid?

As of right now I have a plan with T-Mobile, but I do not use it as often, so I want to save money by switching to prepaid. I talked to some people with T-Mobile prepaid and they said they have problems with the coverage. Does the wireless coverage of T-Mobile prepaid differ from a normal T-Mobile plan?

Hi there...

The biggest problem with Prepaid wireless is that you deal with more roaming and loss of coverage areas. Prepaid services aren't guaranteed to work as well... they use a different type of service. My suggestion is to stay as cheap as you can with T Mobile.. and stick it out... it will come in handy sometime.
