For those who agree that golf is not a sport or the fact that an athlete is someone who uses great strength, co-ordination, skills, and endurance. Basically Tiger never deserved athlete of the year.....Then who in your opinion did?? and why

Ladainian Tomlinson, rewriting the record books in the NFL! Does that count as 2006, or 2007?

Well, I would have to say Tiger, but since we are excluding golf, then it would have to be Dwyane Wade. He had a great season averaging over 27 points a game and won the playoffs and championship for Miami.

Albert Pujols would also get my vote. Batting .331 with 49 homers and a World Series ring. Cannot ask for a better year.
