Lorazepam is a horrible drug to be on (s well as the others) and should never be taken with pain mediactions of any kind. They actually counteract each other.
Lorazepam works by forcing Dopamine (the "feel good" hormone) to stay in the system. When this happens your body says "Hey, we have enough dopamine, we don't need to make more" (obviously thats metephorical) and then your body gradually loses its ability to naturally produce dopamine.

I have taken Paxil among other antidepressants. A number of them give you crazy, seem like not a dream but reality. One time I had a dream that the curtain by my bed was blowing toward me and scaring me???????????????? What's that all about. But I awoke to find myself standing up and trying to restrain a curtain. They are called vivid dreams. They seem so real, that your mind responds to them. I talk a lot in my sleep sometimes it wakes me up other times it does not, but I know I have been talking. I just know. I wish I had someone to wake me up when this happens. Maybe you could talk to you mom and let her know that you hear her and ask her if the dreams are disturbing to her emotionally. Ask her if it would help if woke her up and talked to her for 5-10 mins before she falls back asleep and right back into the same dream. It's hard. For me it is scarry. Don't read too much into what she is saying or what she may do...but do be prepared for to awake abruptly/ even shaken, if she wants to be awakened. These dreams take such a hold on your mind, it takes you a few mins to realize that you are awake and that the drama is only a drea....vivid dreams, in color with all the bells and whistles. Scarry.

WOAH! She needs to get off that stuff ASAP!!!
There have been so many documented cases of people acting out what they are dreaming when they are under those drugs, and they are entirely asleep the whole time. Whole families have been butchered, and people have gone jogging, fishing, hunting, driving and more. So many accidental deaths from this it is not even funny!

With that list of meds she's taking it's no wonder she's talking in her sleep. She should get off that stuff. Tell her to see her doctor because this stuff is NOT GOOD as it's been proven to have bad side affects/

First, be sure that her doctor knows about ALL the medications she is taking. If he/she does, then let him know about her "sleep-talking." Sometimes walking or talking in one's sleep by those taking antidepressants or tranquilizers is actually a sign of the dosage being slightly too small.

Any one of those can cause it. She is probably having nightmares as well. If it's interfering with her rest she should tell the doctor.
I have the same problem. Dreams are extremely vivid when you take certain meds.
