Women shouldn't have less than 10%-12% body fat ever.

But most women are healthiest at around 18%-26% body fat. It is only really athletes and body builders that have a body fat percentage lower than this due to high muscle mass, it is too low for the average women.

I am not sure how much body fat you need...but really skinny girls as well as very obese women can stop their periods all together until they reach a weight that is healthy and then the body starts menstruating again...when you don't menstruate that moslikely means something isn't going the way it should be

I can't remember exactly but i think it's 10%. It's extremely difficult for an anorexic girl to have a period so it depends how skinny you're talking about!
