i think most people were their own opposite sex in their previous life. Think of it this way: if you're a female, you're going to accept the "male force" into your being (that is, sperm, or some type of "male energy") when you make love with your male partner. Then, after living a full life filled with this male energy (or substance) that you've absorbed into your body and soul, you're going to be re-born as a male, because now, you're going to need to release that male energy. So now, if you're a male, you're going to live a full life giving your sperm (or male energy) to a female when you make out with her, which she's gonna, in turn, absorb and release it in another life as a male. You, meanwhile, will have lived a full life having spent all your male energy, and will be reborn in the next life as a female, requiring the "yang" of male energy, and so on, and so on.
It's like the ancient Chinese philosophy of "Yin Yang Taoism". There's a reason why 1.5 billion people in the world (that's more than 20% of the world's population) know and believe in this philosophy, and that's because it's most likely a true interpretation of the cycle of life and death. (Actually, the above interpretation of maleness and femaleness is my own interpretation of Yin Yang Taoism, but it rests on the same actual concept that "opposite forces do NOT exclude each other...a little bit of both can be found in each other"). So, some people may wish to be born as an opposite sex, and it's all natural, and nothing "gay" about it, because like I said, chances are, that person WAS his/her own opposite sex in the previous life. As for myself, I've never wished such a wish....I'm happy to be the man that I am, although I did wonder what if things were different, and I WAS born as a female? Then I quickly perished that thought, and said "NO! HELL NO!! I'm a guy, I was born a guy, and I would NEVER trade it in for a life as a girl !!!"
Finally, regardless of how the American media may portray such a philosophy of a 5,000 year old, still-standing, civilization as nothing more than mysticism, remember that Tai Chi is a type of exercise and martial arts that arose from Yin Yang philosophy, and it's one of the most powerful type of martial arts in history (and practiced by billions of people ALL OVER THE WORLD, even the white folks). So, 1.5 billion people can't all be loonies, can they?

When I get pulled over, I wish I were a hot chick... When I'm tryin' to get into the clubs without paying and waiting in line, I wish I were a hot chick... When I get an erection in public, I wish I were a female... When I have to piss on the side of the road, I'm glad I'm a guy.

I don't know if I've ever wished it, but I've definitely thought about what the differences would be. From a strictly curiosity standpoint, I would love to know what it feels like to have a physical relationship from the male perspective.

I am glad with and thankfull to God for what I am.
Never wished to be a girl/woman.
I dont think any one can wish to be of the opposite sex.
P.S: This is what I think, some may dis-agree with me.

only time I'd want to be female is trying to get out of a traffic ticket. With all of the transgendered types around today, its apparent a lot of people want to switch sides.

I used to be when I was growing up, I was very ashamed of my body and hid all development. In adulthood I love dressing up, looking hot and all that stuff, so I guess it passed for me. It's about accepting the way God made you and going from there. PS-I still like a lot of stuff that's traditionally "male" territory...
computers, black belt in karate, electronics, home repair.
