I had sex without protection but with spermicide. I should have waited a month to be sure the pill was working, but now wonder why my breasts are sore and I'm bloating (but not gaining weight). Is this common when you first start the pill? I was on it for 4 years, off for 2 and now back. Also, how soon will a pregnancy test be accurate?

Honey my breast were in a CONSTANT state of soreness when I took the pills.
It's just the hormones in them causing you the problems. Right before my period my breasts get sore and a bit bigger, then it subsides after my period starts. The pills had the same effect as the pms had on my boobs except it was the entire time...started quickly after I started taking them.
I tested pregnant with a First Response pregnancy test 7 days before my period was due. I'm POSITIVE of my dates because we were trying to conceive. It was very faint, but there and got darker as the days went by and I took more tests.
ADDED: It will take MORE than a couple of days after unprotected sex for it to show positive. It takes time for the baby to implant in the uterine lining and THEN start producting the HCG hormone the pregnancy test detects.

You shouldn't be fooling around if you don't know how you can and can't become pregnant. But to answer your question no you are not pregnant. You need to sit down with a trusted adult and get some facts about sex straight, talk to the school nurse, or go read a book. You might also want to visit a planned parenthood and get some protection so you don't wind up pregnant or get an STD.

If u started ur pill from first day of ur period it'll be safe for the first month but if u start it from 5th day of period u may get pregnant but because u used spermicide it's not so scarer!
i think after 1-2 week u may test pregnancy

When I started my period on the pill my breasts ALWAYS hurt I hated it but that's kinda how I figured I was about to start my period. I think you can take a pregnacy test now if you want to because there are some tests out that can predict if you're pregnant early but I can't remember which one it is. Good luck

most pregnancy tests are acurate within a couple of days after having unprotected sex...you should wait at least 14 days...because that is when the pregnancy hormone is more detectible
