Boise State played one good team all year. They were good but to be in the national championchip game in the current screwed up BCS system you need to be in a confrence that has real teams in it.
Still, i like their field. And their colors. Because blue is bad unless it's ORANGE and BLUE. Also their were no hurricanes this season, just depressions in miami and Tallahasse.

Any crybaby OSU fans that still cling to the idea that OSU was the better team probably didnt watch the game. OSU was dominated in EVERY aspect of the game. They were suffocated by the Florida D, and couldn't stop Chris Leak or Percy Harvin. The final score actually made the game look closer than it really was, as Florida pretty much played conservative for the entire second half. I think the Gators could have put up 80.

No sir, i've been sayin it since the game was announced, the Gators were the better team. Smith had never seen a faster or stronger defense, and the talented bucks d had never faced an offense that could run the spread like florida. Whatch out next year, because Michigan is going to win the Big X and Florida will win the SEC, and they will play, in New Orleans, for the 2007 BCS Title, bearing a USC revival.

Yes, I thought OSU would win. I thought the score would actually be reversed. Being a Penn State fan, I hate OSU, but I got caught up in the hype. Was glad to see the Gators win, but I still wish it was a game like Boise State. This game, from a pure spectators view, was boring as hell.

I'll be very honest in the fact that I did think that OSU would mop the floor with Flordia. But the gators where very impressive and my hat goes off to them. I however dont think that Flordia is the better team, they just happened to be on Monday night. Flordia had everything going for them, and OSU just thought they'd walk in there and be declaired the winners. But you've also got to look at the fact that OSU has been number 1 sense the beginging of the season, and besides Michagian at the end of the season, they really didnt have anyone to play. Add to that the fact that the Buckeyes last game was on Nov. 18th, about 50 some odd days and it's more like playing in another season then it is playing for the national championship. Im not trying to take anything away from Flordia, their a great team, and anyone who can go with one loss in the SEC deserves the national championship. But that was not the OSU that had been playing all season long. OSU looked extremely flat through out the whole game, their defenders werent tackling, Smith had no protection, and they made a good athlete in Chris Leak look like an absolute superstar. Congradulations to Flordia, you won the national championship and did the impossible. But you did it against a luke warm OSU team that anyone in the country could have beat on that given night. But still, your national champions.
