I got a job interview via Monster.com that lead to getting job.
So, yes, Monster.com works! Often 'head-hunters' (outfits that are private employment agencies) review Monster and look for certain experience, or qualifications. They found my resume and contacted me. I went to work for an IT company as a contract for a year, then was hired by the IT company.

cork, only employers have to pay at monster. I posted my resume a long time ago and I used their service for a while; however, I receive way too much spam and emails from head hunters only. Too bad
