I'm a great mom i get home school from an online school so i do my work at night when my baby is a sleep i plan on being as dr i have the support of my family. I had sex at 1 and had her at 14 i take care of her i have help but i do it all i'm a good mom and i wish ppl would see that. so tell me what you think.

No, you aren't a skank. Young.... very young and didn't make the best choice to have sex (I'm assuming it was a choice) that was not properly protected. I'm sure you are doing your best to be the best mom you can be. Unfortunately, when you are that young its a lot harder, you haven't learned all the things you will have learned by the time you reach an age when people normally have kids. BUT, as long as you have help, (and please accept any good help you can get) you will do fine. In most cases, its better for a child to be mothered by their own mom if thats loving, safe, effective mothering.

Asking immature questions, and worrying over whether or not you are a skank are pretty childish. Be a good, mom, get your education, work hard to be smarter, more mature and give your child the best. I'm sure you can do it.

I don't think that asking perfect strangers this question is going to get you the answer you are looking for. None of us know you. Besides, what does anyone's opinion matter? However, I can say that you used bad judgement when you decided to have unprotected sex at, what 13 or 14? I did the same thing when I was 15. That doesn't make you a bad person though, just one who has a lot of hard work, both as a student and a mother, ahead of you. Good luck and use better judgements when doing things that can change your life so drastically. Make the best of your life because it's not over, of course. One step at a time.

Everyone makes mistakes. Having sex was a poor choice and now you are living with the consequences. However, it looks like you are making some great decisions now. Good for you, that you are still working on your education and you are striving to make a future for yourself.

What would have made you a skank was if you had the baby, dropped out of school and kept having sex and more babies.

Don't allow people to define you by one action. Just because you had a baby does not make you a bad person. In fact, it brought out your true character and showed what an intelligent person you really are.

People will always judge thats what society does and by having sex that young having a wonderful new life and making the choice to raise her some may say isnt responsible I however applaud you on your choice and the fact that you have support from your family, goals and plans just continue to be a good mommy and it may be hard but try and develop a tough skin because people will assume things and think things. You dont need to hear how hard it is going to be I have a feeling you realize just how hard it is and that it only gets harder. Good luck. Everyone makes mistakes. Don't beat yourself up. You do need to concentrate on school and taking care of your baby. Unfortunately, you have to grow up really fast being a parent at 14. You will miss out on a lot, but if you make the sacrifices you won't regret it later in life. If you can get a sitter one night a week, you should go out w/ your friends to give yourself a break. Make sure you don't do drugs or alcohol as you can lose custody of your child and it's not worth it. I had my first when I was 19, and I still wasn't ready and I made some mistakes. Long story short, my parents are now raising her. I'm 23 and pregnant w/ my second child, which I will be raising w/ my boyfriend. Keep your chin up, you will be okay.

I happened upon your question while I was looking at another. This question really shows your age and maturity. First of all, you wouldn't be asking this question unless your self esteem is so low that you have to fish for the validation and sympathy of complete strangers. Second, what is someone your age doing having sex to begin with? And last, a good parent is someone who can provide for their child. Someone your age just puts the burden on the grandparents. For your own sake and for the sake of your parents I suggest you think long and hard before you have sex again. Get on birth control and ALWAYS use protection. You're lucky that all you got was a baby. You could have contracted a disease that could eventually kill you.

Why would you have sex at a early age? where were your parents? You don't realize it now but you are missing out on the best years of your life, trying to play house. It's good you are still getting your education at home but just imagine if you were in school socializing with friends being a young teen ins tend of being a young mother, an you make it sound all peachy and you know it's not. it's very hard, and you need to have some kind of job because I know that was extra burden on your parents. that was a stupid mistake.

First there is not such things as 'safe sex' It is called 'safer sex" safe sex would be to NOT being having sex at all.

And second you do not do it all. You do not pay your own bills drive your self places you need to go or pay to have someone else watch your child while you are at school or work.

Usually, a mother (whatever her age) has sense a mother. It grows well on you, and I hope you won't bore with all activities of being a mother. I proud that you can take care of your baby very well, because it's not easy being a single parent on your age.

Have you married ? I advise you to get married soon, so that your life will complete. You are a good mom, and I believe you can be a good wife also. A complete and happy family give your baby good emotional health, and won't do the same wrong thing (having sex on very early age) like you.
