With a great defensive recruiting year, Mountaineers will be National Champions and Slaton gets heisman?

I am a true mountaineer fan and I believe that WVU will be in the BCS title game. With their offense and of course staying healthy and if Coach Rod which recruited me many years ago gets a good offseason defense. Its a no-brainer. Mounties may average 45 points this season and will a new defensive back field and fill in few gaps. The mountaineers will be there in 2008 playing for the title.

Pete Carroll has his defense coming back, his QB coming back, still has his RB's and although Jarrett is going pro, there's a transfer for WR. USC continues to have great recruiting classes, and there's no reason to believe that USC won't be contending for champs next year. BTW Booty is also a frontrunner for next year's Heisman.

They always have a great team and would not be surprised to see them on top. I think Penn State will be contenders next year also. They had a great finish to the season and a great bowl win against Tennessee and they are returning most of their team. PSU vs WVU would make an awesome BCS championship game =)

Another media darling with a lot of hype. They certainly have a chance to get to the big game with the way the BCS rates teams because WVU has a weak schedule. However, they will have their a** handed to them if they make it to the 'big dance.'

I think that the defense really needs to step up. also, they are gonna miss their all-american center Dan Mozes. However, if steve and pat can stay healthy and they not choke (slatons fumbles and the south florida game) they have a good chance. God i dont care as long as it isnt USC.
