Help! can you tell me a good metaphor and give me advices on to drawing a picture or a graphic that illustrates the metaphor and a good plot that has something to do with the metaphor? Thank-you a metaphor is when you compare two things (an abstract noun with a concrete noun) without using "like" or "as" an example is like this: "imagination is a pencil, it creates anything the heart desires."

if it is a metaphor, it doesnt have the word "like"in it, so ignore the other two.
USA is an abused child, with a sad history, trying to prove itself before the eyes of the world.
young country - child
dark history
draw, small child draped in American flag, standing in the middle of the room, with a shadow shape of the country, bruised face on the child,
if it is for school, mite be a bit graphic/political

A picture you might sketch could show a bunch of frightened guys in a fox hole with flames raging around the edge.
