hi-dont worry, it could be that baby hasnt dropped yet-he/she could have just flipped around on you and it seems that he/she has dropped-you can ask your doctor to check for you.

when baby drops it doesnt necessarily mean he/she is ready to be born -he/she could have just found a more comfy position -it could still be months before he/she is ready.

I wouldnt worry until you talk to your doctor.

a little trick to try-
if you can place your palm flat underneath your ribcage to the beginning of your uterus, that means baby has dropped.

but again even if the baby has dropped, it doesnt mean they are ready to come out.

It means the baby has dropped down into a lower postion towards the birth canal, preparing for birth. That doesnt mean you will have the baby right away... but is a good sign! make sure to ask more at your appt. They should notice the change right away and comment even before you ask! =) Good luck!

The baby usually drops in preparation for birth. It means the head(hopefully) is down and in a good position for birth. Don't worry though some babies drop and you still don't go into labor for a while. Others don't drop till right before, my last one seemed to go up an down for a couple of weeks before he was born. Good luck.

It can mean many things. But most people are referring to the babbies position dropping down to a lower carrying position.

It could mean that your baby is getting into the positive for birth. But I doubt it if your cervix isn't thinning and you are not spotting, etc.

Most women I've known who have given birth, will have the baby carry lower beginning as long as a month before to one week before giving birth.

BE A GENTAL MOTHER AND GOOD LUCK!

It means that he is in the birth canal and getting ready for his arrival. It could be 2 to 3 wks before his birth or it could be just days.

THE little one is moving into position in the birth canal, getting ready to come into this crazy world. Remember to bless it in your church by giving it back to God. ( Christian or what ever you do). Good Luck

when they say the baby dropped..it means that the baby has lowered itself into the lower part of your womb...usally head first..when te head is "engaged" it means te head is set realy low down in the womb..ready for birth.
