that is happening with the illegals getting welfare.. They don't have to PROVE they need it.. For my $30 in food stamps, i have to provide copies of bank statements (12), copies of expenses (12 months), birth certificate, copy of my life insurance policy to prove it has no cash on it I can draw on, proof of who owns the car I am driving, etc.. Illegals don't have to do any of that. Of course it's money.. Did u know for every rec. that gets off FOOD STAMPS every year.. the workers get a raise.. TRUE... The govt Makes us prove we are starving to death before I get help.. they don't want to feed someone who doesn't need it (or half the people that do).. but just show up illegally and get it.. They don't provide a SSN which is checked (they run my record every 12 months to see if I worked and didn't tell them), or show birth certificates or papers saying they are legal to work...

Government spending for social programs have increased under the Bush administration. The problem is definitely the red tape and bureaucracy. A guy who makes $2,500 a month in cash working on friends cars but can still get $150 in food stamps, yet my grandmother with Lou Gehrigs disease can only get $20 per month in assistance...it's ridiculous.
