do u mean the movie Eragon?
i loved the movie but if u compare it to the books, it wasn't that good... its like the same for harry potter, the movie itself was good but if u compare it to the books, the books are much better.

Let me get this out of the way up front: I didn't read the book....
The movie felt like a cheesy B movie which spent too much money on SFX instead of a good story. There were fairly big plot holes and things that didn't make any sense.... But that is my opinion.
And the guy who saw the movie with us and had read the book, said it was the WORST adaptaion ever.

Eragon did not live up to the build up. It was a poor version of a little bit of Harry potter, lord of the rings, and another one that is escaping me at the moment. Prior to those it would have been great

It's like movies for kids. Grownups should only read the book.
