I cannot believe that anyone with a shred of common sense would vote for this Labour shower again.
As an ex-Labour supporter I have to say this is the worst, most corrupt, most untruthful, most dangerous government this country has had in my lifetime.
I am also fed up with being taxed to the hilt and watched 24/7.

The vast majority of the British public do not want a new labour Government already. In fact, out of all the Adults in the UK eligable to vote in 2005, only 22% voted labour. that means 78% did not want a labour government. Unfortunately 40% of those eligable adults did not vote at all. If you think about it, with the first past the post system, the none of the above party won the last general election with a massive 40% share of the vote. Of those that did vote 36% voted labour, so with a miserable turnout and 22% of the adults supporting labour, Tony Blair won with a 66 seat majority. (due to a massive in-built bias in the seat boundries)

Depressing init? The only solution is to get non-voters to the voting booth in huge numbers to support UKIP or the greens or whoever. If all those who did not vote at all, all agreed to vote UKIP (for example) then UKIP could win the next general election.

THAT really is how much power the non-voters in this country have. If we organised and agreed on actually getting off our collective asses and DOING something for once. We could wipe the smarmy arrogant smile of ALL the politicians.

The non voters are actually the largest single block of popular opinion there is. If only we could get most of the non-voters to all agree on something, other than not voting.

UKIP should not be chasing dissillusioned tories, they should be actively seeking the non-voter who is sick of politics and is demanding change and asking those persons to just once do one small thing that just could make an enormous change. And that could give us a party that could make voting really worth while.

The numbers are unmistakeable. Labour 22%, Conservative 20% Lib-dem 14% none of the above: 40%

This country is ripe for a MAJOR peaceful and democratic revolution.

Do not listen to the mainstream media, lying and deliberately pushing the myth that there can only be labour or tory governments.

The 'main' parties are now fringe parties as their popular support is so low.

as part of the public i dont want a new labour government now and definately not in the future, but if people keep voting for them and believing the utter sh1t they come out with whilst taxing us for every possible thing they can ,causing wars , turning the country into orwells 1984 ,and countless other crimes against the country and its people (i.e us ) ,dumbing down the education system so more pupils hit targets and the figures look good never mind if the kids can actually read or write, they have destroyed what was left of the NHS ,the police are too politically correct to bother with criminals anymore they just target people trying to defend themselves or their property , the whole country is turned into a zoo

I don't think we ever want the government we've got once its been in for a long time, trouble is, it's left in the hands of the opposition parties to present the electorate with a genuine alternative. I think a lot of people are just plain sick of 'government' in general regardless of which party. Perhaps the Yahoo Q&A community could run the country!!!!

The future is now and New Labour is heading for the scrapheap, especially after the succession of Home Office revelations where murderers, rapists, etc have been admitted to the UK and are roaming free.

The public don't, but they need something better than the other main parties to get them out to vote. Who in England is going to vote for any party lead by the Scots after the present dictatorial junta.
