Have you ever tried to annoy a telemarketer and succeeded?

How did you do it? What were the results?

I just like start yelling, like "Hello!!!!!!!!!" It went on for a while then she asked why I was yelling, I said because I wanted to. Or I'll do a weird funny voice with an accent. I even start to speak to them in another language, like Greek or Spanish or German. Its preety funny, everyone should try it sometime! LoL!

My little brother's friend kept asking questions of the telemarketer--why he was calling, who did he want to talk to, what was the reason, whether he would talk to someone else, if he could answer the questions instead, inane questions about the product.

Apparently it went on for 2 minutes, until the telemarketer said he'd call later. Not sure if he did.

Definitely, Yes.
Most telemarketers that I am aware of are usually reading off of something or have memorized their material.
Asking questions when "I felt like" asking a question...not after they were finished seem to get them out of their almost trance like attitude of just spieling off at me.
Once they lost their train of thought it was easier to annoy them just by my asking questions about their product.

i hung up the phone
