I think a lot of black guys consider they got a prize if a white women will go out with them or marry them. Due to the fact many years ago a black man got hung if he even looked at a white women, maybe now they think, look at me now and nothing you can do about it.
I don't think it has a thing to do with you not being attractive enough because I see many beautiful black girls.

It may be a far fetched answer but what if they subconsciously want to vicariously end their sufferings as black men? You know, maybe they think somehow that by association, they are lifted out of the social stigmas that they face.

Also, at times it seems that no matter what a black man does or accomplishes he is still always viewed by whites as "less" or innately insufficient, so when a white person puts you on the same level as "worthy" it has got to do a whole lot for the self-esteem. As when a woman chooses a man, so he is being chosen by someone from a group that would generally say he is not worthy.

Now, I'm not saying that this is OK or that I agree with this logic, but I think it has a lot to do with why they choose a woman outside of their race. I don't think that it is truly so much about physical beauty as it is about the mental state they are in about themselves.

In terms of the infamous attitude of the black woman, it is simply us fighting back (responding to) at the double negative that society has placed upon us, that is being not only a woman, but of African descent too -- completely puts us at the very bottom of most social hierarchy. There has never been a time when those who were opressed didn't rebel -- that is all that is going on with the black woman's attitutde. It's a rebellion against being treated as one with no value.

It's like we're saying "just because the people in the world don't think I have value, doesn't mean that I don't, and I am every bit of a woman/asset just like any other female that God breathed life into."

It's the attitudes. Simply put, that's the whole reason, a lot of guys get sick of that they don't want the female all up in their faces screaming and etc. Not to generalize, because not all black woman are like that, but a bunch are. Black dudes just real chilled, most of the time. And most black guys like black woman, I don't know what part of the world you live in. Black girls are beautiful, but when I was in high school none ever liked me and when I approached them it was all I got was tudes.

And what is it with this white thing? Black dudes like Latino females more than white girls tbh. But then again, I mean it really is a 2 way street, it's not just the black males it's also the white females. You guys act like black guys just run after white woman, that's false. The white girls that get into these relationships are attracted to black guys. About the blonde hair blue eyed white female, I think more black dudes would like the black hair/brunets. imo. Brunets/black hair white girls> blonde hair. However I do think some form of conditioning is attributed to this as well. But on tv elements of black culture is everywhere. So it is something to think about now.

And btw what is it with this wanting what they don't have stuff? What? That doesn't even make sense, such a response is a oxymoron to the question posed. Literally!

Because the problem is twofold.
Most black women are not in shape, and most white women are, well, young white women who are not living in a trailer.
Most black men have been told by society that white is better. To get a white girl means you are better. Blonde is queen.

I for one love the big black butt. I dont like hip-hop, rap that much, but I make the exception when thick bootie is calling. Thin black girls are sexy. Everyone knows that, but not many admit it. It's not the black that puts people off, it's the fat. Even bad attitudes are overlooked if you have Vivica Fox ***.

Now this may sound funny coming from a 'white', though I am really part-Native, but I think they see all these movies and magazines with white women. Our society glorifies the blonde, blue-eyed Scandinavian type. I am not suggesting I have something against them, but Black women are hardly seen as attractive in these magazines. There is the temptation of being someone who is more socially acceptable, as weird as that sounds. I have heard of the 'trophy wife for the upwardly mobile' and as dumb as that sounds, it is what people are taught.

I do not care if people date outside of their race. I don't mean it that way. It is more about what you are talking about, absorbing a certain ideal that leads to a bias or preference. There are a lot of attractive Black women.

No thats not true at all. to each is own. when i lived in this city i use to say the same thing. And then when I moved to a different state the brothers were all over me. they loved the sisters. Dont generalize the whole race bc there are alot of black men that cherish their sister. also honey u have to look at the media especially in rap videos. all the women are mixed or another race like lationo, asian, etc. so when u see it on tv the person watching it is automatically going to want it to. girl u better get u a latino or italian and let them treat u like a queen.

my opinion is that Black men are intimidated by us because of our overly strong personalities. A lot of Black women are the ones who are holding their households together. It has always been that way ever since slavery and because of this our grandmothers & mothers have taught us that you must be strong and that strength is mistaken for an attitude problem.

It's not fair to make generalizations, it may be a matter of preference or simply that they have found someone of another race they like. There are so many unknowns, to make a fair judgment.

Hmmmm.....there are plenty of black men with black women, which is where black children come from. So something is working properly somewhere.

Peace.

many people always try to get what they don't have, and never appreciate what they have. That's why they end up alone.
