Give them time to get comfortable with their surroundings and just let them play. What I did with my kittens was to just sit and watch them play, and each night they come a little closer to letting me touch them....cats are like people sometimes, they just need time to get used to you :)

If they are very young and from the humane society, chances are, they haven't been around humans much. They will have to learn to trust you and be comforted by you.
Give them a few days to warm up to you.

Yes, give them a day or two to settle in.
Don't chase them around or try too hard to get their attention.
Just be available, move slowly and gently around them. Maybe lay on the floor, ignore them, and play with the fishing toy YOURSELF, drag it around on the floor, etc...
They'll settle in and start driving you crazy soon enough! :-))

the best thing u can do is give them a routine & not to scare them or confuse them with an over abundance of affection. let them get used to u, or just put ur hand out for them to smell it, or make a cozy spot for them on ur bed while your reading or something ♥

Give them a couple of weeks. They will come around. They just have to learn trust. Once they see that you are feeding them and taking care of them. They will come around.

Just give them time. Keep on encouraging them to stop being shy though.
