First get a salesperson license then apply to the NAR for membership. Realtors are members of the trade organization. Not all agents are Realtors. We subscribe to NARs Code of Ethics,
Your question SHOULD be how do i get a license?
Contact your state's Real Estate Commission for a list of approved schools and then enroll. Pass the classes, apply for the state exam and pass the test. Your Real Estate commission will have all the steps.
Make sure the school is approved by the state because it will waste your time and money to take classes and not be able to take the test. Some states do not recognise on-line training.
Good Luck

"To become a Realtor." You have an interesting way of stating your goal. If your goal is to merely be registered on the books of your state as to licensure as a salesperson (usually the first step in most states, prior to licensure as a Broker), it can be done for three hundred dollars or less and a little bit of self-study in most states, and you sit and take an exam, often multiple-choice, often via computer, but by in-person appointment. Many states will require additional criteria be met such as satisfactorily passing a criminal background check (doesn't necessarily mean it be spotless), pay a statutory fee into a state contingency buyer-protection fund, etc.

HOWEVER, keep in mind that if your goal is to be able to successfully compete against the established Realtors in your area who play up their experience and expertise constantly, and are professionals at what they do, and have endured a gamut of potentially daunting circumstances to get where they are, you are going to have to resolve to pay the same price that they paid. Look at one of the color ads in the newspaper that these leaders continually publish, in the Homes section. Then go to the newspaper classified ad department and ask how much they would charge if you were to design and run an ad similar to that one. Not only will you need to pay monthly dues to your area's Board Of Realtors above and beyond your state's licensure fees, you will need approximately SIX MONTHS OR MORE of savings saved up, for all your costs of living and debt service, and initial investment into your network, in order to really properly launch your career as a Realtor. During that initial period until you earn, and then wait to collect, your first commission, you will "try, fail, and adjust" innumerable times. The entire mind-set of a professional salesperson is a science in its own right. You will need to learn to think like a business owner and not like an employee, and to be completely self-starting and self-disciplined, with regard to time management, personal finances, thought life, people skills, and information-gathering skills. Many, many people study and take a test and get their real estate license, but only a small percentage ever go on to earn any commissions at all, and very few ever stick it out long-term. It has to be a passion in life that you love to pursue; bringing buyers and sellers together. It is a HUGE time and money commitment, to do it right.

There's not anything mistaken with occurring a project to Boise, it is simply that plenty of missionaries wish to visit international locations since they believe it possibly cooler. There's plenty of Mormons in Idaho already too, however of direction there may be continually changing to be performed in every single place correct? Anyways, the humans that made the film have been mainly sort of constructing a funny story that he was once going to a "dull" location on his project. And yeah, Kirby Heybourne-- Way adorable!
