i will get it done by a professional!
the hand web is a surface piercing in between your fingers (i want to get my left hand in between my index and thumb)
i already checked for veins and there is only one going right by my thumb.

Basically the truth to any piercing is you can do any piercing yourself, but more than likely you won't know how to, and will mess it up.
Lots of selfdone piercings are crooked, not done right, or get infected because it wasn't done in a sterile environment and proper care wasn't instructed.
It doesn't hurt to save up a few extra dollars and have a piercer do it. They know the angles and how to get it done quick and precisely.
Any piercing should be done by a professional. That's why they make a living doing it.

I never advocate self piercing. But if you must, please know that hand web piercings are considered temporary. They can and most likely will reject because of so much motion in the area, and difficulty keeping it clean. If it does begin to migrate, I would suggest taking it out or you will be left with a very unsightly scar.

ya it is safe, BUT its not a good place to get pierced...there is a lot of movement in that area, think of all things you do with your hands that will cause that area to move alot, it will cause a delay in the healing process, and not to mention migrating out. typically those type of piercings are just meant for temporary decoration....it will end up being a temporary piercing. and well it wont last...simply because of all the movement that woudl be going on...that will just be hard for it to fully heal...

I do not recommend getting your hand pierced.

Get yourself a nice gold or silver ring to wear if you must have metal on your hand.

i wish i knew what a hand web was.

you shouldn't do any piercing yourself. seriously, you can screw something up and get it infected, crooked, or God knows what else.

DO NOT PIERCE YOURSELF. You could get hepatitis and infection.
Professional piercers need a qualification, that's how unsafe it can be.
