It's up to you, I have 4 kids with 2 years gap, then 28 months gap then 23 months gap. All works, I have two in high school and two in primary school. Good thing when they were growing up I had 2 in naps, so it was over pretty quick. Some say space it out but then it's like you have a baby in the house for years. Some like it that way as the older one becomes the babysitter. Depends how many more kids you want too. I have a mate that has 2 older kids with a 16 mth gap then 5 yrs later had another 2 with 18 mth gap and she's happy as. Another factor is can you afford to spare the time off ie by not working. I hadn't worked in a full time job for 12 years as I had to wait until they all went to school. So lots of factors. Do want is financially fine and emotionally fine and it will work.
All the best. :-)

It doesn't matter; they will still fight! The kids I babysit are 7, 3, and two months, and the older ones fight just like you'd expect any siblings to. My little sister and I are exactly three years and nine months apart in age, and we fought plenty when we were little and still do fight. I think it's harder when one child grows up a long time before the other one does; I know for me it's frustrating watching my sis act like a careless slob of a teenager while I'm trying to go to college and be an adult and end up picking up after her instead. The only advantage of spacing your kids 4 or more years apart is that you won't have to pay for college for them at the same time.

I'm the oldest of 4 boys and we were born 2 years apart-the youngest 2 have their birthdays in the same week. Good for you! If you want another, go for it now so there isn't such a gap between the ages.

Definately up to you, my 2 oldest are 17 months apart, they get along, have seperate lives and friends, of course they fight, all kids do! My youngest is 4 years younger then them and he seems lonely to be honest, they love him, but the age gap is huge! They don't want their younger bro around their teenage friends and such, I just kinda wish I would have thought about that before.

I have two boys, aged 12 and 8. When they were little, the age difference was fine, but now that the oldest is almost a teenager, his little brother "gets on his nerves". Of course that is typical with most siblings..I am sure as they grow older they will start looking out for one another and acting like brothers should....If I were you, and according to your age and health, when you feel it is the time to have more, go for it...It is your choice...GOOD LUCK!!
