never use external water sources, as this can introduce diseases to your tank very easily... get aquasafe from any pet store or walmart, this will make tap water safe for your tank(it doesnt affet ph so i would find out your taps ph first)

when i had my first fishs i used ozarka and in a matter of 2 days they died so if i was you i would go and buy a water purifier for your fish

Let tap water sit for 24 hours and check the PH before you put fish in it.

are you kidding that water for humans are you trying to kill your poor fish get them a purifier you cant expect fish to drink contaminated water.
