Yes!!!
I believe that of all the comic book movies coming out this year...
the 300 will easily take first place...
and this in spite ofthe fact that I dig the Spidey movies...and was one of the few who enjoyed the Hulk...
this is the one movie I will be looking forward to all year long...

A good way to find out would be to head over to hsx.com (hollywood stock exchange), and compare the stock price to other movies released this year. Since 300 has not been released, the stock price directly effects its early buzz. From all the movies released this Spring, only Blades of Glory has a better stock market price. However, the high prices on Pirates 3, Spiderman 3, and Shrek 3 will make it hard for 300 to be in the top 5.
While the trailer is spectacular, it is rated R, and most R rated movies will not make a lot of money in the box office. But considering the budget (60 million) and the automatic appeal to every fan boy, the movie will probably make its money back in the box office and certainly will make it back in DVD sales.

It will have some stiff competition considering what's coming out.
It could win some possible awards in costume and best makeup.
