Yes, I do. It is sustainable so long as the people allow it to be. We have laws enough now to protect us, we really do not need the new ones coming into action. It is all about control, and control alone. Responsible release of information could have been a deterrent for some of the things that have happened. Our methods of talking to gain peace is simply not going to work with some people groups. Personally, I feel that our methods of conduct in any war effort should be based on the idea of "if you think you are bad, we are far worse". To make an enemy absolutely sure that they face total annihilation if they do not sue for peace is the only way to deal with some people. The radical Islamics are one of those people. Look up their history, it will show that this is true of them.

Yes,
By the media, it tells you to be afraid of everything, invent the concept of War on Terrorism, like this was winnable ( what about war on poverty) in order to keeps you under pressure.
You then accept the need of 'protection' by a stronger police, video camera, new passport, mobile tracking, etc... in order to 'protect you' against THE enemy ( you don't even know who is the enemy)
Soon, they will sell you an implant with all your information to put into your own body as a safety improvment program. You are monitored more than you think but less than tomorrow.

Hello,
Yes. We are already in a police state.

Def of Police State:
A police state is a state with authority which uses the police, especially secret police, to maintain and enforce political power, even through violent or arbitrary means if necessary. A police state typically exhibits elements of totalitarianism or other harsh means of social control. In a police state the police are not subject to the rule of law in an emergency and there is no meaningful distinction between the law and the exercise of political power by the executive.

Police states do not often refer to themselves in this manner, as the classification is often established by an internal whistle-blower or external critic. The use of term is motivated as a response to the laws, policies and actions of that regime, and is often used pejoratively to describe the regime's concept of the social contract, human rights, and similar matters.

Alex Jones thinks we are in a police state too.

Hope this helps you............. : -O

No. really what is going on is that the social order is being disrupted in as many procedures as conceivable (the nuclear relatives is being disrupted, little ones are being corrupted, our foodstuff and water is being poisoned) not as an end objective, yet as a fashion to an end, the right being a international communist society - neither matriarchal nor patriarchal, yet one the position there are workers (adult men and women alike) and then the elites who administration each and every thing. What you spot now might want to be only a stepping stone in the route of that.

George Orwell's 1984 was a prophetic work. The population of the world is increasing rapidly and an attempt to control the masses through propaganda might not be enough. Hence, various states will create an adversary and a phobia in order to excersize control. We are experiencing the demise of "civilization" as we know it. Blessed are those, such as I, who are too old to see it all unfold in its sinister grandeur... and this is the optimistic version!

Yes as it is known this country is moving more and more to the left. As a visitor to several European Countries who are Socialist the state has a great deal of power over its citizens. They control nearly every aspect of the citizens life in some of the most mundane areas.
The US is moving in that direction. We will soon be as Europe is today. However I fully believe freedom is something that everyone wants. Even the whinny little bed-wetting liberals.Sooner or later society will rebel.

Yes it is. The middle classes who commit few crimes and try to better themselves must be controlled, after all they provide most of the cash. The criminals cannot be controlled and contribute nothing to society so the government doesn't have much interest in them. Ignoring their crimes is the easiest approach. But remember to squeeze the middle classes until the pips squeak, they will never fight back.

The united states in my opinion has always been the world police. Sticking its nose in places where it doesnt belong. They say we are free, but I say we are free to do what they tell us. Just wait, they are slowly but damn sure to take what little freedom we have away from us, hence the patriot act and video cameras everywhere and all that bullshit. We are on the eve of destruction...

Moving into a police state, we already are!

The government now tells me I must spend $1400 a month on my child, I must carry medical coverage. I must purchase Car insurance, I must pay taxes, the list goes on.

It's all about government control and try not doing as they say.
