im new at tutoring koreans 17 and below , i teach them communication arts, i dont understand much of what korean culture is, if you can give me some tips of the do's and dont's when teaching them it would really be helpful

well haha part of my family is korean, and i would say some little hints, well try and get them to be more open with you... the Korean culture is largly based apon beeing modest and that does not work in the American culture. Do not embariss them they will never forgive you, its just a thing i have noticed, haha and make them smile. I have a big extended asian family and my cousins are Korean thats all I got. haha

I don't know much about Koreans specifically, but you should research their culture and a little of their history so that you can understand their backgrounds and possible attitudes and thus help them to learn better.

I think you may need to find out if they are south or north Korea. That may make a difference.
