Because they put fabric softener in the rinse cycle when they wash their clothes. You should try it sometime.
BTW, why are you standing close enough to other people to know what their clothes smell like?

To answer your question...why do a lot of Hispanic folks smell like fabric softener? Better than smelling like donkeys?!
I have many Hispanic friends. They are lovely, decent, sensitive persons who would give the shirt off their backs for persons in need. Even here in San Antonio, Texas where quite a few lovely Hispanic folks live in poverty, charity is taught and practiced from an early age on. Hispanics are very giving and loving persons. All of the Hispanic folks I have met...it must now be tens of thousands smell lovely. The ladies love nice perfumes, just like women of other races and cultures and the men love nice after shave lotions and colognes.
Donkeys are wonderful beings. They make excellent animal companions. I have also made friends with many of these intelligent and beautiful animals. I don't think they smell bad. They are quite clean and take good care of their babies. Donkeys are faithful and loving companions for any humans that want to include them in their families.
I love donkeys and lovely Hispanic folks. Please take the time in your life's journey to meet some precious Hispanic folks. Please also spend some time with donkeys. You will not be sad that you did.

We wash with fabric softener to smell fresh, cuz we try to get the smell of the gringo donkey smell off of us.

All the Mexicans I work w/ are clean and smell rather good.
And when someone smells like fabric softener, it means they wash their clothes..with guess what?? FABRIC SOFTENER.
Are you jealous because you smell like white trash??

Because Mexicans, unlike you're gringo AS*, actually like to smell clean, and not like STUPID. Now, answer me this question: Why don't you wash the sh*t smell off of yourself? I can catch a wiff of it from here, and I live in Florida you Prik!

im curious why you dont???? maybe your mother never taught you laundry. my suggestion, go up to some mexican lady and ask her how, then she can help you not smell like cheap detergent
