It's because it has musical integrity. Most pop music and rap (even though I love it) has jarring music and lyrics which children can't relate to. 'My Heart Will Go On' is like many other classic songs - it sticks to a correct rhythm which the human ear can easily translate.

i never got that either.
i despise celine dion. shes a c,u.nt and i'm ashamed to be from the same country as her. and not that i've seen the movie, but i don't need to to know it sucks.

Musically, it's easy for children to understand and follow. It's your basic sing-along.
