ME! I send the kids out of the room and THROW the can against the counter. And I always look away, like a biscuit might fly out and take my eye.

No to the biscuits, yet specific to the croissants. I make those little sandwiches often times the place I take the croissant dough and roll in meat and cheese and then bake them, and that i've got had extra advantageous than you are able to fantastically lots explode in each and every single place as quickly as I smack it on the counter to open it. My theory is that the possibilities of it exploding are immediately proportional to how clean the kitchen is, how little you desire to run back to the shop for yet another kit, and how clean the canine's face is (as a results of fact she's constantly underfoot whilst i'm interior the kitchen, and she or he constantly gets to the exploded gobs of dough in the previous i will seize them from her.)

No way! Its a poor man's fireworks! just like bubble wrap, but slightly more edible once cooked.
And you can act out your own little plays, pretend that your a big time lowlife bookie and the can is a mark that owes ya money.
"Dammit, doughboy [pound, pound] cough up the fifty g's [pound] or your gonna ...{pound] [pop] hey Rocko, I broke another one!"
or you can pretend you just got that roll in Of Mice and Men
"I'll love him, and hug him and call him Pillsbury ... [squeeze] [pop]"

Solution?...........slam the can on the counter, that way you know exactly when its going to pop and you caused it to happen. no more surprise.problem solved.
