My sister has this thick,thick hair down to thighs and she's looking for a swim cap good enough to protect lots of hair,she's about to buy one of those retro,vintage,but cute bathing caps with flowers,and chin strap ....anyone has experience with such caps ?

cut it off. why in the world would you want to have your hair down to your thighs??

I mean this in the nicest way, to save your sister some embarassment, don't use the chin strap cap. The best advice i can give you is to have your sister put her hair in a braid or a small bun and use a regular swim cap. They're much easier and they'll keep her hair more dry and will help keep chlorine out of her hair...

female, swim caps will shrink to rubble your hair, end of tale. yet once you employ elastics, instead of the rope like ones, and positioned fairly of you conditioner on your cap, and a broom! Then, in simple terms brush it out once you're commencing off you swim cap, and you would be fantastic, and with the aid of the way, whether you place on a swim cap, your hair gets moist.

Ive had hair I could sit on and the cap would not look good with that much hair it would look like a space helmut with plastic flowers!!

I hope she's not going to race in one of those things. You're better of just nor wearing one. She needs to learn how to tie her hair in a tight bun; a silicone swim cap WILL fit over her hair, trust me, and it will be a heck of alot more hydrodynamic.

haha cute but not for competetion swim for leisure swim go for it but id just use a ponytail
