my fiancee thinks we should name the baby Vida Alana if it's a girl & I think we should name the baby Mackenzie Elaine if it's a girl.He wants 2 name the baby Kenneth Allen Wise Jr if it's a boy & I think we should name him Richard Douglas if it's a boy

How about you go with his choice if it's a boy (since it is a family name) and your choice if it's a girl.

P.S. I like the concept of Vida (Spanish for life) as a name, but probably wouldn't use it.

I like your two names better then his Mackenzie for a girl and Richard for a boy
good luck I had to fight my boyfriend to name the baby what I wanted we don't agree on any names... My philosophy is I'm carrying baby for 9 months having morning sickness heartburn.. and I'm the one going through labour what did they do?? I think I earned the right to pick the names lol he didn't like the idea but oh well Good luck

Sorry but I don't like JR's and I really don't like Richard (think Dick)----Where did you get Vida? That is just too strange....Alana is nice, Mackenzie is too used now and Elaine is not my favorite. You will change your mind a lot---I hope you're getting married soon.

Those are very cute names; however, many people begin thinking of names well before conception and during pregnancy, but nothing is set in stone and couples tend to change their minds about names often and usually have to come to a compromise. I love the name Raylene for a girl and Kaysar for a boy but my husband hates them both. He suggested he name a boy and me a girl, but NO WAY (he likes the name Seth...ugg)
