oh and i bet you really love mayonnaise, that is what they say about white people.
A lot of us colored people do like chicken, so does just about every other person on Earth of every different nationality.

Well... It is true. colored people like chicken. Everybody likes chicken. White people also like chicken. They are just better at hiding it than colored people. You want walk into a Popeyes and see a bunch of white people sitting around munching on fried chicken. The majority of the costumers will be black.
But maybe right now as we speak (or type) threes a white middle-aged man sitting in the basement of his home with the lights turned off eating a gigantic bucket of fried chicken.

I think most people that say things like this is showing their ignorance.. Black people like shrimp and crab and steak and almost every dish imaginable.I have to tell you I grew up in the south and Im a white mutt.. nothing special just a mutt Norwegian and Anglo Saxon .. mixed..But well let me get back to what im saying..The blacks have been stereotyped but let ignorant people do and say what the like .I want to be one that says I know for a fact that not only do they like other foods they are some of the best chefs and cooks in the world of every dish you could imagine.As a matter of fact when I lived there growing up if there was a white person cooking in a restaurant I wouldn't even bother eating there.The food was usually just so so,but if there was a black or other nationality there you can bet it was awesome.This doesn't go for all whites.. its just most were there for the money and did what was required but to other ethnic groups food is like their art and it really reflects on them because of how good it is..Like I said nothing against whites..many of whom are wonderful chefs and cooks but I grew up eating mostly food prepared by black chefs or cooks and to this day I have been unable to match the food in taste that came out of those kitchens . I apologize as someone of a different color to those that have been placed in such a light as a typical stereotyped person..But it works both ways too..Also there are some blacks that were comedy personalities that promoted this as there act..so whats to be expected from that..Its just a bad impression and easily taken badly .There is nothing we can do about racism im sure it will always be around no matter what race but we can all do our parts to promote no racism..Thats the only way ..

people feel as though thry need to connect black people with lots of things. please keep in mind that you can eaisly generalize any race with almost anything if it catches on and its funny. Im a black man and while I do eat chicken I wouldn't say I love it however I do love crablegs and japaneese food. If I go to a restraunt thats mpstly white i'll never order chicken just because of that question. Oh and nobody says colored anymore when referring to black people or african americans.

it's an attempt to mock a race by means of generalizations. It's really foolish though cause when ya think of it who doesn't like chicken. If you don't then I suggest you get youself to the nearest Swiss Chalet.

Well it has to do with the whole Fired chicken thing. I mean, no one before blacks decided to fried chicken, that is distinctly a southern thing. I guess they became known for their chicken. I think the whole frying thing came from slavery, probably had to use the fat of pigs or something. I dunno, it was rough back then. But fried chicken isn't good for you.

i don't have a clue. my mother-in-law wants chicken more than anyone i've ever seen and she's is white. i think it's pretty silly myself. people are people no matter the color or food preference.
