4 years ago a man shot and killed a drug drealer (just pot) because he thought he had gotten his daughter addicted to all the drugs she was on (not true, he only smoked pot).
His trial just started on monday.
Oh and he shot the guy 9 times in the back with 6 witnesses in the room between age 15-20 (including his own daughter)

What has this case to do with the question? He hasn't been tried or sentenced yet. It sounds like you have some emotional investment in this situation.

And yes, the judicial systems of this world are screwed up. They are run by imperfect humans with imperfect thoughts and imperfect abilities because Satan runs the world, therefore, the judicial system falls under that.
1John 5:19 says; We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one.

PLEASE READ THIS TRUE STORY OF THE LOCAL COURT

How about a guy that holds up a convenience store with the end of a pool cue. He did it because he had no money for food and his kids were hungry. He didn't take money, he took approx. $40 worth of groceries.
He received 7 and 1/2 years for his crime.

The same day, same courthouse, and there's a guy on trial for raping a neighbour's daughter...TWICE!
Because he was on government assistance, he begged the judge to be lenient so he and his family(like the wife would want him back?) wouldn't lose the benefits.
So she reduced his sentence from 10 months to 7 months because losing his benefits might cause him "undue stress".
UNDUE STRESS? He gets 7 months and government benefits to support him and that poor, poor young woman gets a life sentence of emotional terror and turmoil!
The other guy tries to provide for his family by taking $40 worth of groceries and gets 7 and 1/2 years.

Ask your question again. What answer do you get?

God Bless and thanks for reading.

In my opinion, the way in which the justice system is most messed up, is with some judges, being too lenient, favoring the criminal in a crime, over the true victim. It makes me almost literally sick sometimes. Often, these are liberal judges, and I wonder sometimes, where they picked up their belief systems, or developed their ideas of justice. People really need to take it seriously, whenever we get a chance to vote on a new judge, in any of our areas, and just vote for the person we think would be best. It is the least we can do.

The judicial system has needed a house cleaning for a long time but I'm not sure we will get one.
